Bright Talent
Undergraduate design students develop creative and technical skills in the class Designing With Light. Over the course of three months, students design and build light fixtures with the newest energy-saving components. At the end of the quarter, UC Davis design professors and top experts from the lighting industry grade their projects.
The opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and national industry leaders gives students an advantage as young designers looking for work after graduation and a way to translate sustainable technology learned at UC Davis to a broader community.
